OPEN LAB: Hands on with IBM i Mobile Access

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Mobile access to your IBM i is becoming increasingly necessary. Managing your IBM i systems as well as providing user access from any mobile device, cell phones and tablets is becoming a requirement for the business. In response to this, in April 2015 IBM announced the G.A. (General Availability) of the IBM i Mobile Access Solution to begin addressing these needs. This lab will provide the participant with a guided, self-paced, interaction with the solution. Becoming familiar with the 5250 interface, running SQL Queries, interacting with Printed Output, the IFS and much more. This lab is intended to run from your own internet connected mobile device of your choice.

Learning Objectives:

Experience the IBM i Mobile Access experience from your own mobile device to learn if it is a solution that would be beneficial to deploy in your environment
