OPEN LAB: Hands on with IBM Navigator for i

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Try it, You will like it! IBM Navigator for i is the web based IBM i OS navigator environment that runs on your IBM i OS that has been available since IBM i OS r7.1. IBM Navigator for i is a critical tool for administrating and managing your IBM i OS, contains great value add tools like Performance Data Investigator and is the navigator environment relied on by the IBM i Access Client Solutions infrastructure.

IBM i Access Client Solutions is a platform independent client that is supported running on multiple Operating Systems like Macintosh, Linux, and Windows. Familiarity with IBM i Access Client Solutions is very important as this is the future of the IBM i Access Family software on workstation operating systems. This future is already here as IBM i ACS is the only client supported on Windows 10 and later OS, and IBM i Access for Windows is being withdrawn from support on April 30, 2109.

This hands on lab exercise will guide you through many of the functions and capabilities of IBM Navigator for i, allowing the user to become familiar with these capabilities and become comfortable with the environment.
